Important Announcement

We’re excited to share that DBT Columbia is beginning its transition to become DBT Missouri, a nonprofit organization dedicated to expanding access to DBT services and training throughout the state.

This change reflects our growth and commitment to serving more individuals and communities with quality mental health resources. Services will continue uninterrupted, and we’ll share more updates soon.

Thank you for your continued support!

—The DBT Missouri Team

DBT Columbia is a consortium of individual therapists in private practices across Missouri. We collaborate as a team to provide group skills training and ensure consistent treatment for our clients.

The group component of DBT cannot be billed to insurance, but you may be able to pursue out of network reimbursement depending on your plan’s benefits. Groups are billed $50 per weekly session. Most people graduate DBT after 48 weeks, for a total cost of $2,400.

The individual component of DBT is offered through each of our private practice settings. Financial arrangements vary. Some therapists offer sliding scale spots and a few of our therapists do bill insurance. For more information, please fill out our contact form, send us an email, or get started here.

Kylie’s therapy style is defined by the word “presence”.  Kylie prioritizes being fully present in a mindful way for each of her sessions. She cares deeply about providing effective care and invests time outside of her sessions to read and educate herself on unique client problems. She works hard to ground herself before sessions, regularly checks in with her clients about how treatment is working in the here and now, and maintaining flexibility for what her clients are experiencing week-to-week balanced with long-term goals. Kylie loves working with clients over long periods of time, building strong relationships and witnessing ongoing growth and change over months and years of work. Kylie observes her DBT clients building confidence in their own intuition and ability to heal, grow, and change.  She sees DBT as a treatment which gives individuals mastery in navigating a variety of problems, reducing overwhelming feelings, and coming into their own power in problem-solving and learning to trust themselves.  Kylie believes the healing work which happens in therapy is sacred and should be treated with immense care. Kylie spends her time off in quiet, intentional activities such as reading, making art, and spending time in nature.
